Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Prism CV, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and do not use it.

2. Description of Service

Prism CV is an AI-powered job application assistant that helps you:

• Store and manage a master resume.
• Tailor your resume to specific job descriptions.
• Generate personalized cover letters.
• Download and share tailored application materials as PDFs.

3. Anonymous Accounts

Prism CV does not require registration with an email address or password. An anonymous account is created automatically when you first launch the App. You are responsible for keeping your Support ID (visible in Settings → About) safe if you wish to request account deletion after uninstalling the App.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

Subscriptions

Prism CV offers subscription plans that unlock export features (PDF download, share, and cover letter copying). Subscriptions are billed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your store account settings at any time.
• Refunds are subject to the policies of Google Play or Apple App Store.

Application Credits

Application credits are one-time consumable purchases. Each credit unlocks the export of one tailored application. Credits do not expire and are non-refundable once consumed.

Day Pass

A Day Pass grants 24 hours of unlimited export access and is a non-renewing purchase.

5. Cancellation and Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account within the App. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data from our servers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
• Use the App to generate application materials for fraudulent purposes.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the App or our servers.
• Circumvent any billing or access controls.

7. Intellectual Property

• Your content: You retain ownership of the resume content and job descriptions you upload. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process that content for the purpose of providing the service.
• Our content: All App code, design, branding, and AI-generated output templates are our intellectual property.
• AI-generated materials: You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before submitting it as part of a job application. We do not guarantee accuracy or fitness for purpose.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• AI-generated output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular employer or role.
• Your application materials will result in interviews or employment.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prism CV and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of employment opportunities or data.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the three months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles.
